We host mini camps, week long camps and several events throughout the year for a taste of farm life for children ages 7-17.

At Black Creek Hill Farms, we offer a variety of camps and events throughout the year, giving your child the chance to experience the joys of farm life and connect with horses and make friends. If your child dreams of spending a day surrounded by these majestic animals, our camps are the perfect opportunity to make those dreams come true.

 

We host mini camps, week long camps and several events throughout the year for a taste of farm life for children ages 7-17. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up early to secure your child’s place and don’t forget your sunscreen and water bottle!

Summer Camp

  • 5 Day Camp

  • Ages  7 - 17  

  • $350, per week, per person

  • Monday - Friday • 10:00am - 2:00pm

  • May 19th - 23rd - Saddle up for Summer

  • May 26th - 30th - Sunshine and Saddles

  • June 2nd - 6th - Hooves and Heartbeats
    *    We may offer more dates depending on interest. 

Every summer, we offer exciting 5 day long day camps (M-F, 10 - 2) where campers get to immerse themselves in the joys of farm life and horseback riding. With the help of our Camp counselors, each day is packed with fun, learning, and hands-on experiences that your child will treasure forever. Kids are paired with a camp Counselor for the duration.

What's To Expect: 
 

  • Horse Care: Each camper is assigned their own horse for the week to care for, bond with, and yes RIDE! Other activities include grooming, tacking, and learning horse anatomy.
     

  • Riding Lessons: Campers work on basic riding skills and learning their horses, with fun games in the arena.
     

  • Farm Chores: Campers learn the value of hard work by mucking stalls, feeding, and watering all the farm animals, and picking some farm fresh eggs. 
     

  • Creative Activities: Arts and crafts, storytelling, and even painting and decorating their horses allow campers to unleash their creativity.
     

  • Water Play: On hot days, campers and horses cool off with water games for an extra splash of fun. So don’t forget a towel and a change of clothes.
     

  • Lunch Break: Enjoy lunch in our shaded seating area or picnic-style on the lawn. (Lunch not provided. M-Th) Water and Snacks are provided. 
     

  • The Grand Finale: The week wraps up Friday with a showcase event where campers demonstrate their hard work and skills and are presented with awards and ribbons. Grownups and family are encouraged to attend. This is followed by a special pizza and ice cream party. By the end of the camp, you’ll be amazed at how much your child has learned and how proud they are of their accomplishments.

Can’t commit to a full week? No problem! ​ Black Creek Hill Farms offers Mini camps throughout the year that deliver a fun and enriching experience for your child, all packed into one amazing day. Single-day camps are perfect for introducing kids to the joys of farm life, fostering new skills, and creating lasting memories.

What's To Expect: 
 

  • Farm Chores & Horse Care: Campers start their day learning the responsibilities of farm life, including feeding animals and caring for their assigned horse.
     

  • Riding Time: Campers will have the opportunity to ride a horse and build their confidence in the saddle.


  • Creative Activities: From arts and crafts to other fun hands-on projects, your child will enjoy exploring their creative side.
     

  • Lunch Break: Midday, we’ll take a break for lunch in our covered picnic area. Be sure to pack a lunch.  (Lunch not provided) Water and snacks are provided. 

This was the funnest week for my boys and they learned so much so fast!! Miss Brenda was patient and loving to all the kids! We definitely will be back!

Riding Disclaimers and Policy

*At Black Creek Hill Farms, everyone’s safety is our top priority, helmets are required for minors  (provided) to ensure a safe and secure riding experience. For adults, helmets are optional but highly recommended for added safety and peace of mind. Closed-toe shoes are required.  


*To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, including our horses, new customers must demonstrate the ability to ride and control a horse confidently before heading out on a trail ride.
